November 4, 1934 - March 8, 2024

Anna was born in a little country farmhouse near Sedgewick, Alberta. She took pride in where she came from and sharing with her family the house, memories of taking care of farm animals, riding her horse to school and the little country church she grew up in. Her love for learning and of singing and praising God led her to Camrose Lutheran Bible School where she met the love of her life, Morris.

They were later married at that little beloved country church on May 15th 1957. Soon after they moved to Prince Rupert where they were blessed with a family.

Upon moving to Prince Rupert Anna took on several jobs when family life allowed, her last with Rupert Cleaners and the ferry cleaning crew.

Anna cherished her aquasize classes that became McDonald's coffee get together's being a part of the Prince Rupert Rotary Choir and above all, taking part in regular worship services at St Paul's Lutheran Church.

At her church, Anna and her childhood friend Helen Stamnes would share their musical talents during Sunday School sing along, Sunday worship service and often during weddings or funeral's. Anna's open acceptance and ability to listen and compassionately be there for others has become a shining example and inspiration for most all she knew.

Anna was predeceased by her son Bryan on October 12, 2016, her Sunshine step grand-daughter Chloe June 15th 2020 and her husband Morris on November 5th 2022. She is survived by her children Michael (Sandy), Diane and Duane and by many grand and great-grandchildren.

A service for Anna will take place May 7th 2024 following a special request by Anna, of hymns at 1pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
