UPDATE x3

As the sun goes down on another day of searching, the vehicle belonging to Adam Moore has yet to be recovered from the waters near Galloway Rapids.

"We still have not found where the vehicle specifically is in the water, but we hope the dive team will be able to locate it tomorrow," said Const. Matt Ericson of the Prince Rupert RCMP shortly after 4 p.m. on Jan. 6, noting there is a dive team coming up from Kamloops.

UPDATE x2

Prince Rupert RCMP have confirmed that the vehicle parts located near the Port Edward turnoff belong to the vehicle driven by Adam Moore.

"Due to lack of daylight and the safety of search teams becoming a concern, the search has been temporally suspended overnight and will resume at daybreak," explained Const. Matt Ericson of the Prince Rupert RCMP.

A dive team has been contacted and will attend the scene at first light along with members of search and rescue and RCMP West Coast Marine Services.

UPDATE:

Prince Rupert RCMP Const. Matt Ericson has confirmed that officers have recovered a vehicle at the scene, but said not much else is known at the moment.
