Armed Robbery near Prince Rupert school

A store on Sixth Avenue West reported an armed robbery Sunday evening

There was an armed robbery in Prince Rupert this past Sunday, Jan. 13.

RCMP got the call at 6:47 p.m. and rushed to PJ’s Food convenience store, across from Annunciation School.

The two suspects were caught on surveillance cameras outside the shop. Two males hid their face with masks before producing a weapon, stealing items and an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen or heard something to step forward and help the investigation.
