Work on the new school in Port Edward is continuing as the building begins to take shape.

As of earlier this week, the majority of the exterior framing had been complete, as well as much of the interior framing, and the school’s roof structure was in place. As well as work outside the building, passers-by will see activity going on inside the former community hall to get it ready to be the school’s gymnasium.

Once complete, the school will be leased by the Prince Rupert School District for students in the community.
