More than 250 people taking to the field for Prince Rupert Relay for Life

Hundreds of people from across the North Coast will be taking to the track tomorrow morning to battle cancer.

The Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life gets underway at with the survivor lap at 10 a.m. on May 24 at the Prince Rupert Middle School Track. This year's relay is shaping up to be much larger than in 2013, with more than 250 people on 30 teams participating compared to 223 people on 26 teams last year.Organizers have set a goal of $75,000 for the Prince Rupert event.
