The City of Prince Rupert will soon demolish the building located at 2059 Atlin Avenue which was recently occupied by the Transition House Society. To identify opportunities of developing a fully serviced and accessible site the City of Prince Rupert will now explore options for residential development in that area. Any future development will incorporate and enhance the adjacent playground.
The City of Prince Rupert will be sharing concepts and plans with the citizens of Prince Rupert as this process evolves. In the meantime, the City of Prince Rupert will seek bids for the demolition and removal of the old Transition House building as the first steps toward re-purposing the site.
