A 6.2 earthquake shook northern B.C. and the Yukon early Monday morning.
No tsunami warnings followed the quake that hit at 5:31 a.m. at a depth of 2.2 kilometres and 136 km southwest of Whitehorse.
Many residents in northern B.C. and Whitehorse reported feeling the tremors and there have been several aftershocks registered between 2.5 and 5.2 magnitudes according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
