Updated: Two vehicles collide at Lester Centre entrance in Prince Rupert

Traffic along McBride was slowed down earlier this afternoon following a car accident at the entrance to the Lester Centre of the Arts in Prince Rupert.

The accident was caused when a silver station wagon traveling westbound toward downtown attempted to make a left hand turn into the parking lot of the Lester Centre. The driver of the station wagon misjudged their timing and turned in front of a black sedan traveling eastbound that had the right of way.

No injuries occurred from the accident.
