Just days before the BC Liberal Party chooses its new leader and next Premier of the province, the only candidate to not visit the city yet will make his way to Prince Rupert.

George Abbott will be in Prince Rupert on the morning of February 22 and will be meeting with residents and party members at Pizza Hut beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The visit comes just four days before the party votes for the next leader, and comes following visits from fellow candidates Mike de Jong, Christy Clark and Kevin Falcon.

Look for more on Abbott's visit online at www.thenorthernview.com tomorrow afternoon.
