Every November, crafters from throughout the North Coast put their wares and talents on display for the Kaien Island Craft Fair.

The Russell Gamble Gymnasium is packed with people selling everything from quilts and clothing to picture sand painting, from carvings and toys to jewellery and food. This year marks the 38th annual craft fair, which will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes more than 80 tables.

As well as being a showcase for artisans of every medium, the craft fair offers people a chance to find a unique Christmas present for the holidays.

The fair is hosted by the Prince Rupert Community Arts Council and there is no admission to enter.
